SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT/SENIOR CASH MANAGEMENT OFFICER, Fidelity Bank
Company location: Worcester
Residence: Worcester
Favorite movie: "Working Girl"
Career highlights: I was very fortunate to get into banking right after graduating from Assumption College. I was a teller for three months at a local bank in Worcester when there was an opening posted for cash management. I was offered the job. I have been with the bank since December 2007, and in April 2011 I was asked to become senior vice president of cash management and be responsible for managing a deposit portfolio of commercial, non-profit and municipal customers.
Community involvement: I have been involved in Jesse Burkett Little League since I was 5 years old, playing softball my entire life through Jesse Burkett. I played varsity softball at Doherty High School and on the Crush, an ASA softball team, for five years. Now, I help coach my daughter's team and work the snack shack whenever needed. I also help with any volunteer opportunities that arise like Habitat for Humanity and at my children's religious school.
Biggest success: I have two: The first would be maintaining the healthy balance between my work life and my family life. My husband and our children are my daily motivators. The second would have to be my career.
Biggest challenge: Every day is a challenge. Giving 100 percent to my family, 100 percent to Fidelity Bank and our customers and 100 percent to the community that I live in is an everyday challenge and one that I try to not only meet but exceed.
Mentors: My best mentors are my husband, my children and my parents. My husband Michael and I have been together since junior year in high school. My husband and my children make me want to advance my career, be a better wife and a better mother.
Hidden talent: I'm an avid athlete and love to play golf, softball and really any sport.
