William D. Kelleher IV
Age: 38
Title: Vice President – Commercial Brokerage
Company: Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates Inc.
Company location: Worcester
Residence: Westborough
College: Providence College
Career highlights: Upon graduating from Providence College, I knew that a career in sales was something that I wanted to do. I moved to Boston and ventured into sales as a specialty food broker. After seven years, I decided to transition into real estate, a business that I was both familiar with and very much interested in. At Kelleher & Sadowsky, I primarily focus on providing professional and reliable real estate brokerage, including long-term real estate investment, disposition of assets, and leasing of commercial space.
Community involvement: Currently, I serve as a board member at two organizations, the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Worcester Regional Research Bureau. I’m also a corporator and committee member at the Worcester Art Museum, as well as a former board member at Preservation Worcester.
Dream job: To be a professional golfer. It’s a great sport that involves many of life’s more admirable characteristics: honesty, integrity and determination.
Businessperson he admires most and why: I have tremendous respect and admiration for my parents, both of whom have had exceptional careers in real estate.
If you weren’t doing the job you’re doing now, what would you do? It would likely be in the financial field. If the reality of family and finances weren’t of concern, I’d be golfing or maybe be chartering a fishing boat in the Caribbean.
Favorite movie: The Shawshank Redemption.
If you were stuck on a desert island what book would you want to have with you? I’d have to say the Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. Although I haven’t read the book recently, I still recall the story of a man full of pride, battling nature, and refusing defeat.
