Career highlights: I help companies take control of their web presence. We know that anyone can build a web site, but to build a truly effective web presence takes much more. We find ways to leverage our content management software to give our customers the ultimate control over and confidence in their web and sales marketing strategy.
I started my career as an IT auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, earned my CPA and went into industry implementing manufacturing ERP systems and solving problems with custom programming. I love solving problems and enjoy seeing new systems solve people’s business challenges.
Community involvement: I spend much of my free time either helping run Cub Scout Pack 140 or at the Sturbridge Federated Church, most recently as chair of the stewardship board and assistant treasurer. I enjoy the people I meet and the friendships I make.
Biggest professional success: Starting my own company.
Dream job: To be a flavor guru for Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
Businessperson he admires most: I admire those who find ways to run profitable businesses that support many families and find ways to give to the community and teach future generations how to make a difference. For example Richard Branson put together the Virgin Earth Challenge to promote creative solutions to reduce unwanted atmospheric greenhouse gases.
If you weren’t doing the job you’re doing now, what would you do? I would travel the world with my family and then run the family farm!
Favorite movie: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
If you were stuck on a desert island what book would you want to have with you? Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham — it never gets old!
