A private Worcester County golf club will host a major golf tournament in September for the controversial new professional tour with ties to the new Saudi Arabian government. 

The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts is accepting grant applications for the Nashoba Valley Healthcare Fund Grant Program.

Weidong “Wilson” Wang, who owns Baba Sushi in Worcester and Sturbridge, bought the former Fotini’s Restaurant in Bolton for $1 million on Friday.

The Town of Bolton was granted $938,000 by Massachusetts to design and construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Main Street, Forbush Mill Road, and Green Road by Nashoba Regional High School, according to a Wednesday press release from the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development.

The Gov. Charlie Baker Administration announced on Tuesday the conservation of 43 acres of land in Bolton through the Local Acquisitions for Natural Diversity program. 

The International in Bolton, which was closed for the 2020 season because of bankruptcy proceedings, is due to reopen on Monday with a renovated clubhouse and more course changes ahead.

Texas company Escalante Golf, which fashions itself as a boutique owner and operator of golf assets, has purchased The International Golf Club in Bolton.
