Human resources software firm Workhuman named KeyAnna Schmiedl, a former executive at Wayfair and Mozilla, as its new chief human experience officer.
Schmiedl will guide all of the organization’s human experience strategy, including talent, total rewards, learning and development, culture and employee experience, organizational design, corporate social responsibility, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, according to a Tuesday press release from the company.
“Workhuman’s mission aligns so strongly with my own values and passion - to make work more human for every person on the planet. To do this while working alongside an outstanding collective of people just adds to my excitement for the journey ahead,” Schmiedl said in the press release.
Steve Pemberton was the last person to hold the position. He left the company in October 2022, according to his LinkedIn account.
Schmiedl served as vice president of social and environmental impact at California web company Mozilla and was global head of culture and inclusion at Boston-based online furniture retailer Wayfair.
Workhuman is based in Framingham and Dublin, Ireland. Its primary product is the Workhuman Cloud, a web-based human resources software platform.
