Boston coworking space company Workbar, LLC will open its Framingham location on Aug. 1. It was previously announced it would open on July 1.
“As one of the fastest growing and most diverse cities in Massachusetts, we believe Framingham is the perfect choice for Workbar's 11th location,” Workbar CEO Sarah Travers said in a press release on Friday. “Following the outstanding success of our Workbar Needham location, we knew that we needed to make the MetroWest region our next priority.”
The Framingham location is the furthest space west of Boston. All of the company’s outposts are located within 40 miles of Boston, and each is roughly 20 minutes from another Workbar location.
Located at 111 Speen Street, Workbar will be located on the second floor of the 21,000-square-foot building owned by Paradigm Properties of Boston and North Colony Asset Management of Cambridge, which purchased the building in 2022 for $13 million.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story inaccurately stated Workbar in Framingham would open on May 1. Workbar in Quincy will open May 1 while the Framingham location will open Aug. 1.
