Worcester tech company agrees to game-changing deal with distributor

Worcester technology company ComputerVault has reached a distribution partnership with Arrow Electronics, Inc. 

“While this relationship with Arrow Electronics can certainly be a game changer for ComputerVault,” Marc Zarrella, ComputerVault’s head of revenue and partnerships, said in a Tuesday press release. “It’s our hope that ComputerVault’s services will be game changing for Arrow Electronics’ customers.”

ComputerVault’s technology allows users to access their desktop and applications on any device from anywhere. Arrow Electronics, which is headquartered in Colorado, provides hardware and software for companies as well as distributing electronic components and computer products. Now, ComputerVault joins the list of products Arrow provides. 

“As the industry leader in distribution and fulfillment, Arrow Electronics will help ComputerVault’s innovative virtual desktop infrastructure get into the hands of more companies,” Zarrella said.

ComputerVault moved to Worcester from Marlborough and signed an eight-year lease to use the fifth floor of the former Unum Insurance building on Mercantile Street. The company was located in Marlborough for the last seven years. Before that it was located inside 446 Main St. in Worcester, formally the Worcester County National Bank Tower.
