Westborough Recycler Offers Discounts To Biotech Firms

A Westborough firm, E.L. Harvey & Sons, has been named the primary laboratory recycling supplier for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council.
Members of Mass Bio will now get a discount on lab recycling from E.L. Harvey as part of the statewide trade group's purchasing consortium, which leverages the purchasing power of member companies.
MassBio officials said they've heard that lab recycling has been difficult to find.
E.L. Harvey recycles 85 percent of its collections and takes the rest to a waste-to-energy plant. The company will also offer discounts on shredding, e-waste recycling and destruction and various other services.
