A WBJ webcast scheduled for Tuesday will tackle an issue of growing concern for businesses of all sizes: ransomware.
Dubbed Ransomware & Cybersecurity - Protecting Your Business, the webcast will aim to give business owners and executives a better understanding of common cybersecurity concerns, including ransomware, phishing, and disinformation, as well as how to keep organizations safe.
Topics to be covered include steps to prevent ransomware attacks, how technology can be used to mitigate phishing attacks, and how to clarify obligations on your business if such attacks occur, among other areas.
The webcast will be moderated by Patrick Tracey, partner at Worcester law firm Bowditch & Dewey. Panelists include Gregory Berks, senior vice president and director of operational risk, vendor management and information security at Middlesex Savings Bank in Natick; Michelle Drolet, founder and CEO of Towerwall, Inc. in Framingham; Joanna Baltes, adjunct professor and curriculum coordinator for the cybersecurity policy and governance program at Boston College;, and, Simon Taylor, CEO and founder of HYCU Inc. in Boston.
