The Wal-Mart Foundation has donated $25,000 to the UMass Memorial Foundation‘s Mobile Health Safety Unit.
A check is scheduled to be presented to Victoria Diamond, senior vice president at UMass Memorial and Michael Hirsch, chief of the division of pediatric surgery and trauma, Thursday at the UMass Memorial Medical Center.
The mobile health safety unit travels the neighborhoods of Worcester promoting safe and healthy activities for youths.
