Randolph and Baldwin, an Ayer-based engineering and design firm, has purchased a warehouse on Jytek Road in Leominster for $1.6 million, according to real estate database CoStar.

The 21,000-square-foot building was sold on Dec. 6 by AC Partners LLC, which is registered to the president and vice president of Reliance Engineering. Reliance was an entity of Built-Rite Tool & Die, which was acquired by Beacon Manufacturing Group of Lancaster, Akoya Capital, which has bioscience offices in Marlborough, LLC, and Texas-based Trinity Private Equity Group in January, according to a press release from Akoya.

Randolph and Baldwin will be the tenant as well as the owner of the Leominster facility, according to CoStar. The company chose not to disclose whether it will be expanding or moving from Ayer with this purchase.

The property is located at 11 Jytek Road in Leominster surrounded by several other developments and sales. The area was formerly home to United Solutions before it sold three warehouses this summer. A wholesale bakery, Bisousweet, is also constructing a new facility near the corner of Jytek Road and Willard Street.
