Staples Finds There Is No Place Like Home

Employees who work from home report they are happier, healthier, more loyal to their company and have a better work-life balance since they began telecommuting, according to a survey from Framingham-based Staples.
The number of telecommuters is expected to hit 63 million nationwide by 2016, according to a report from Forrester Research.
The survey of 140 telecommuters by Staples Advantage, the company's business-to-business division, found that to increase worker productivity, businesses could provide more support to telecommuters, including offering office furniture, supplies and more IT support.
