Life science products and services company SeraCare reported a $1.3 million profit for the fourth quarter on $11.3 million in revenue.
For the same period the prior year, the Milford-based company reported $9.3 million in revenue and a loss of $15.1 million.
The company attributed its newfound profitability to five new product launches and 40 new customers. Also, sales outside the United States increased 45 percent from a year earlier.
The company also said it sold a facility in West Bridgewater last month that allowed the mortgage on the property to be paid off in full.
