A real estate company affiliated with the owners of Salmon Health and Retirement has bought the property that houses the company’s rehabilitation and assisted care facilities on West Main Street in Northborough, according to the Worcester Register of Deeds.
BWP Northborough Realty LLC purchased the property from Nationwide Health Properties, a Delaware-based corporation, for more than $17.6 million last month. The properties are located at 238 and 238 ½ West Main St. (Rte. 20) in Northborough.
Salmon is based in Westborough. It operates active adult and assisted living community and rehab and skilled nursing centers that employ approximately 1,800. Last week, the company announced it had bought the hospice and home health operations of Milford Regional Medical Center.
