John Crowe has been appointed president and CEO of Saint-Gobain‘s North American operations and CertainTeed Corp.
Crowe was formerly the head of the company’s global abrasives business and oversaw 13,000 employees at 75 manufacturing locations.
He will take the reins of the company’s entire North American operations, which includes 19,000 employees at 265 locations, including about 2,000 in Worcester, Northborough and Milford.
He succeeds Gilles Colas, who will return to Saint-Gobain’s international headquarters in Paris as senior vice president in charge of global strategic developments.
