UN1F1ED2 Global Packaging Group, the Sutton-based packaging and container manufacturer which is part of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s business portfolio, has sold its 124,400-square foot Webster facility for $11.2 million to a New Jersey-based transportation company.
The property, located at 1 Cudworth Road, was sold in a deal finalized on Wednesday, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records. UGPG RE Webster Delaware LLC, an entity managed by UN1F1ED2, sold the property to 1 Cudworth Road LLC, an entity managed by the owner of Dana Transport Inc.
Dana intends to occupy the building for its business, according to a Wednesday press release from Worcester real estate firm NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs. UN1F1ED2 did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the sale.
Dana Transport is a New Jersey-based trucking company specializing in the transportation of bulk liquid chemicals, according to its website. The company has existing Central Massachusetts facilities in North Grafton, Oxford, and Upton, with operations in 27 states and Puerto Rico.
UN1F1ED2 purchased the building for $7.5 million in April 2022. The building sits on 10 acres of land, with the property receiving a tax assessment evaluation of $7.1 million in 2024, according to Town of Webster property records.
James Glickman and Cody Miner of NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs represented UN1F1ED2 in the transaction.
The Kraft Group, UNF1ED2’s parent company, purchased the site of Rainbow Furniture in Worcester for $1.8 million in July. The property sits next to an existing UNF1ED2 facility.
