Kraft Group continues industrial investments with $7.5M packaging warehouse

UN1F1ED² Global Packaging Group, a packaging supplier headquartered in Sutton, purchased a 99,000-square-foot industrial warehouse in Webster for $7.5 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.

The Webster warehouse at 1 Cudworth Road has been owned and operated by Lelanite Corp. since the company built it in 1998, according to the Town of Webster assessors’ data. Lelanite Corp., which is an industrial packaging company, has been in business since 1958 and owned the Cudworth Road property since 1968.

The firm declined to comment on the property sale.

UN1F1ED² Global Packaging Group was formed in 2018 and is a joint venture between AGlobal Solutions and Worcester-based Rand-Whitney Packaging, which is owned by The Kraft Group. Robert Kraft, who owns both The Kraft Group and the New England Patriots, was the name registered to the buying entity in the Webster sale.

The Kraft Group and its subsidiaries have been busy in Central Massachusetts over the last several months. In March, the company purchased a $20-million Northbridge warehouse partially leased to UN1F1ED² and, in April, Rand-Whitney broke ground on a massive packaging warehouse in Boylston.
