Local restaurateurs are hoping that discounts available during the second annual Worcester Restaurant Week will prompt customers to eat out during the first two weeks of August, traditionally a slow time for restaurants.
Worcester Restaurant Week is being held from Aug. 2 to Aug. 15. Nearly 50 local restaurants are offering three-course meals for $22.10, which does not include tax or tip.
All of the restaurants participating in the event are locally owned, according to organizers.
