The Worcester Business Journal will host a virtual Business Exit Strategy Forum on Wednesday, designed to help companies plan for the future and possible ownership transitions.
The forum will focus on helping business owners develop a plan to navigate the process and maximize the value of transferring ownership of their business. The event is free, but pre-registration is required. Register here.
This event will feature three presentations. The first presentation will discuss the topic of mapping a business owner’s journey, featuring Terence Shepherd, managing partner of S&G and founding partner of ROCH Consulting in Worcester, and Ronen Shefer, founding partner and CEO of ROCG Consulting.
The second presentation will discuss pre-sale investment and tax planning, featuring Tom Bartholomew, president and CEO of the Bartholomew & Company in Worcester.
The final presentation will feature Craig Bovaird, former owner of Reliance Engineering and Built Rite Tool & Die in Lancaster, and Altaf Shaikh, CEO and founder of ListEngage of Framingham, telling stories from their experiences of selling their businesses.
Peter Stanton, CEO and publisher of Worcester Business Journal, will provide the opening and closing remarks.
All attendees will also receive a copy of Shepherd’s book “The Graduate Level of Business Ownership: The Secrets of Business Success and Personal Happiness.”
The event will take place from 3:30pm to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. A link to the virtual forum will be provided upon registration.
