Record sales swings TransAct to big profit
Wallingford-based
TransAct Technologies
earned $1 million on sales of $15.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2006, swinging from a $700,000 loss on sales of $12.5 million in the year-earlier period. For the full year, profits were $3.9 million on revenue of $64.3 million, versus a $400,000 profit on revenue of $51.1 million in 2005. TransAct makes custom printers for the casino gaming, lottery, banking and hospitality industries.
