The board of directors of the Residential Energy Assistance for Seniors Foundation has received a $2,000 donation from Southbridge Savings Bank toward the organization's goal of raising $15,000 to help Charlton seniors with energy costs. Spencer Savings Bank made a $1,000 contribution to the Spencer chapter of Hearts for Heat, which provides oil, electric, gas, wood or pellet heating to needy residents. About 15 students from Tahanto Middle School in Clinton visited Clinton Savings Bank's main branch recently. The seventh graders toured the bank and met with staff members. Bank President and CEO Robert J. Paulhus Jr. is pictured with the students.
Southbridge Credit Union presented the Southbridge Parent Teacher Association with a $1,000 contribution from the credit union's Community Champions Fund.
