Photo/Courtesy Worcester-based Capstone General Contracting Inc. hosted a charity benefit at the Salvation Army in Milford, raising more than $2,000 to send needy children to the Salvation Army summer camp in Sharon. Twenty children and 40 adults took part in a buffet luncheon, crafts and cookie-making. The firm is continuing to raise funds to meet the $9,000 goal to send 36 kids to Camp Wonderland this summer.
Photo/Courtesy Habitat for Humanity has received a $50,000 grant from The George F. & Sybil H. Fuller Foundation for its Boylston project at 1 Mill Rd. Cir. Also contributing to the project are Abbott Laboratories, Lionbridge Technologies and Niche Hospitality Group. A grant has also been received from the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Inc. Charitable Foundation. The house will be home to two families with two three-bedroom units.
