Framingham-based Staples donated $7,500 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass. mentoring efforts under a program that lets Staples associates direct donations.

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank donated $2,500 to Everybody Wins! educational initiative in Framingham's Brophy and Woodrow Wilson schools.

Worcester-based Status Ride hosted the third annual Police and Firefighter Appreciation Day, offering free 30-minute drives in cars including a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Ferrari F430Spyder.
