The Beers For Good festival committee, affiliated with the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, donated $5,000 to Gardner-based GVNA HealthCare’s food pantry. Greater Worcester Community Foundation donated $5,000 to The Discovery Museums in Acton for field trips and workshops.

Natick-based Middlesex Savings Bank announced $249,175 in grant awards. Recipients included Framingham Downtown Renaissance; Jeff’s Place Children’s Bereavement Center of Framingham; and Project Just Because
of Hopkinton. 

North Middlesex Savings Bank donated $7,500 to Habitat for Humanity of North Central Massachusetts.

Citizens Bank, with branches in Central Massachusetts, participated in a backpack and school supply donation project with Cradles to Crayons in Boston.
