The nominating window for WBJ’s sixth annual Manufacturing Excellence Awards has been extended to March 12.
“Many groundbreaking and outstanding companies from Central Massachusetts’ largest industry by economic output have been honored by WBJ’s awards over the years,” said WBJ Editor Brad Kane, “and we know the events of the past year have made it difficult for manufacturing firms and their allies to think about nominations for these types of honors, so we wanted to give everyone a little extra time to get their selections in from what has been an innovative and important year for the industry.”
The Manufacturing Excellence Awards honors Central Massachusetts companies in seven categories:Â
- General Excellence
- Emerging Manufacturer
- Product Design & Innovation
- Workforce Development & Productivity
- Green Manufacturing
- Collaboration in Manufacturing
- Manufacturing Champion (awarded to an individual)
