New Name For Health Association

The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Corps. of Massachusetts Inc., based in Natick, says it is rebranding itself as the Association for Behavioral Healthcare in an effort to better reflect the range of disorders that its member organizations treat.

The organization is an umbrella group for 91 health care provider groups, which employ about 20,000 people and serve 117,000 customers. It promotes community-based mental health and substance abuse services and advocates for public policy and funding to support those services.

ABH will formally announce the name change at its 10th Annual Provider Celebration in Westin tomorrow.
