NE SBA chief sails for Iraq

The Small Business Administration's New England regional administrator, Charles E. Summers, has been recalled to active Navy duty and ships out to Iraq in July.
Summers, a Lieutenant Commander, joined the U.S. Navy Reserve in 1996. He is part of Naval Information Bureau, 101, 5th Fleet, Bahrain.
This is the second time Summers has been called to active duty since Sept. 11, 2001.
Summers, a Scarborough, Maine resident, became the regional SBA administrator in March 2005. He manages SBA district offices, and has oversight of SBA financing, marketing and outreach efforts in all six New England states.
