A property located at 1081 Millbury St. in Worcester has been sold to the owner of a nearby paving company for $345,000.
The transaction was finalized Wednesday, according to Worcester District Registry of Deed records, and resulted in the property being purchased by Daniel Amorello from Jesse & Jesse Properties of Worcester.
Amorello is the president and founder of Dan Amorello Services, a Worcester-based company located at 1069 Millbury St. specializing in milling, paving, and sweeping. The company was founded in 1990 and employs 23 people, according to its website.
The 0.45-acre plot of land was purchased by Jesse & Jesse in 2020 for $130,000 and was given a tax assessment value of $201,600 for fiscal 2024, according to City of Worcester property records.
Amorello told WBJ by telephone on Tuesday that he plans on using the property to store additional equipment, allowing the company to continue to be located in Worcester without seeking a larger property.
Andrea Beth Castinetti of Castinetti Realty Group in Shrewsbury represented the seller in this transaction.
