Doyle's transition into the newsroom was completed on Wednesday.

“I am very happy to be reporting on business in my native Central Massachusetts. It is such a dynamic time in the area, which will have its share of triumphs and also complications, making for potentially fascinating stories,” said Doyle.

Before joining NEBM, Doyle worked at auction startup Everything But The House, handling client relations and working with estates. He lives in Worcester and also works as an artist, specializing in oil paintings of architecture and cityscapes. His works have been displayed locally at ArtsWorcester and Sprinkler Factory. In 2014, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Arizona.

From 2009 to 2011, Doyle served as a human intelligence collector for the U.S. Army, and he was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He received the Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal and Army Achievement Medal.
