Less than a month after a Worcester Starbucks location voted unanimously to unionize, a location in Gardner has done the same, voting 14-0 in favor of unionization, according to a tweet from the Twitter account Boston Starbucks Workers United.
The results of the vote have been posted to the National Labor Relations Board website.
The 308 West Broadway location is the first Starbucks in Gardner, having opened in November.
The Gardner location filed its intent to unionize on April 21, according to the National Labor Relations Board. The unionization push was supported by Workers United, which is an affiliate of the Service Employees International Union.
This is the 12th Starbucks in Massachusetts to vote to unionize, with 10 voting unanimously. As of Wednesday, 165 Starbucks stores in 30 states have won union elections and 299 stores in 35 states have filed, according to More Perfect Union, a Washington, D.C. nonprofit organization.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly said that Gardner was the 11th Starbucks which has voted to unionize in Massachusetts. The correct number is 12.
