Milford Regional Medical Center is hosting a ribbon-cutting for Milford Regional in Medway, a new community-based satellite location, on Wednesday.
Announced in the summer of 2023, the new facility will offer adult and pediatric primary care, as well as obstetrics and gynecology, urgent care, and laboratory and radiology services. The new Medway facility, located at 68 Main St., is Milford Regional’s fifth satellite location.
The ribbon cutting is planned for 10 a.m on Wednesday. In addition to Milford Regional Physician Group President Dr. Patrick McSweeney and other Milford Regional officials, the ribbon-cutting will be attended by state representatives Jeffrey Roy (D-Franklin), Michael Soter (R-Bellingham), and Brian Murray (D-Milford).
Other Milford Regional satellite facilities are located in Milford, Hopkinton, Northbridge, and Franklin.
Opening of the new satellite location follows a January announcement Milford Regional has entered into a definitive agreement of corporate affiliation with UMass Memorial Health in Worcester.
