Milford Regional Medical Center is breaking ground on a new satellite location in Medway, its newest community-based facility.
The facility will offer adult and pediatric primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, urgent care, and laboratory and radiology services, according to a Thursday press release from Milford Regional and Milford Regional Physician Group.
The projected opening for patients is Spring 2024, according to the press release.
To be called Milford Regional in Medway, the facility will be located at 68A Main St in Medway. Work on the facility will commence Wednesday with a groundbreaking ceremony. Milford Regional’s other community branches include rehabilitation and sports medicine in Franklin, an urgent care in Northbridge, and diabetes care in Mendon.
The site is being leased from The Lobisser Cos., based in Milford.
I prefer the cows. We need the green space. Why couldn't they occupy vacant buildings, which there are plenty? Medway has lost its soul. It's all about money. Sick.
