JILL C. DAGILIS, executive director at Worcester Community Action Council, is responsible for the administration of $20 million in services that help people move to economic self-sufficiency through programs that focus on education, employment, energy and asset development. She has worked in human services and community development for more than 30 years, and is the former commissioner of health and human services for the city of Worcester. She was a 2010 Worcester Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business Award winner.
CYNTHIA B. NORMANDIN, a 2009 Worcester Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business award winner, is president of Normandin Transportation Services Inc., a full-service transportation and logistics provider in Uxbridge that employs 30. She is also vice president of Braun's Express, in Hopedale, which is affiliated with Normandin Transportation. She and her husband purchased Braun's Express in 1982. Prior to that, she taught mathematics in the Millis Public Schools.
TINA M. SBREGA, president and CEO of GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner, was a 2011 Worcester Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business award winner. She began her work for GFA in 1980 and has served in numerous capacities at the company. She serves on the board of trustees at Heywood Hospital and Mount Wachusett Community College, and was recently named board chair at the school by Gov. Deval Patrick. She also serves as director for Mass. Share Insurance Corp. and COCC, the credit union's data processing company. She is a former director of HOPE and the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce.
