Eight companies from Massachusetts have found their way onto Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 and Inc. 5,000 lists of the fastest growing private companies in the country.
The highest-ranked company from Central Massachusetts was Bridge Energy Group of Marlborough. The smart grid services firm came in at No. 634 overall.
The fastest-growing Massachusetts firm was Carbonite, a Boston-based IT firm ranked No. 9.
Others include consumer products firm Gazelle of Boston at No. 24, Food Should Taste Good, a food services firm from Needham Heights at No. 134 and Reveal Imaging Technology, a Bedford-based security firm that ranked No. 224.
