For the third year, a grant from the Massachusetts Bar Foundation will allow the Supreme Judicial Court’s Judicial Youth Corps Program to go on in Worcester this summer.
The MBF provided a Fellows Grant of $51,225 to allow 20 students from the city to take part in the 14-week program, starting this month.
The program teaches urban high school students about the court system and includes a seven-week courthouse internship.
The Youth Corps started in Boston in 1991 and then expanded to Worcester and Springfield, but it disappeared from Worcester between 2000 and 2006 because of a lack of funding.
