Marlborough Firm Files For Bankruptcy

ThinkEngine Networks Inc. of Marlborough filed Wednesday for liquidation under Chapter 7 bankruptcy regulations in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Worcester, according to court records and the company’s attorney, Michael J. Pappone of the Goodwin Proctor law firm in Boston.

The company was delisted from the AMEX stock exchange in March.

The company posted a net loss of $624,000 on revenue of $1 million for the third quarter. The company’s net loss for the nine months ended Sept. 30 was $1.8 million. For the same period a year ago, the company reported a net loss of $4.5 million. This was in comparison to its third quarter in 2007 when it reported a net loss of $1.4 million on $1.8 million in revenue.
