A 20,000-square-foot office building on Route 119 in Littleton has sold for $1.7 million.
The buyer of 537 Great Road is a realty trust controlled by John McKenna and Joseph Bozek, according to The Stubblebine Co. and CORFAC International, the agency brokering the deal.
They bought the property because of its proximity to I-495 less than a mile away, and The Point retail plaza, which includes the O'Neil Cinemas, a Courtyard by Marriott and a Market Basket, according to the Lexington-based brokers. Workers Credit Union is building a 60,000-square-foot headquarters immediately off Exit 31 across from The Point.
The seller was FFD LLC, an entity controlled by Craig and Mark Foster of Portland, Maine. The deal closed Aug. 22.
The 2.6-acre property was last assessed by Littleton at just under $1.1 million. It was occupied for more than a decade by HITEC Sensor Developments before the company expanded to a location in Chelmsford, according to Stubblebine.
