F&M Tool & Die Inc. of Leominster will move into a new 23,390-square-foot manufacturing facility in Lancaster after agreeing to a lease for a building at 851 Sterling Road, according to a Wednesday press release from Worcester real estate brokerage NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs.
F&M Tool & Die does mold maintenance, design, manufacturing, and repair for industrial, medical, automotive, and cutlery industries. The company was founded in 1973, and Scott Duncan became its owner in 2018.
When reached for comment on Tuesday, a representative from F&M Tool & Die declined to say whether the company is expanding or leaving its Leominster home. Duncan told the Worcester Telegram & Gazette on Wednesday the company is moving out of Leominster but declined to give a timeline.
The company has between 11 and 50 employees, according to Crunchbase.
The building in Lancaster was built in 1983 and owned by L.L. Prince Realty Trust, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds. NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs represented the landlord in the deal.
The building is set on two acres and previously housed Beacon MedTech Solutions, a subsidiary of Beacon Manufacturing Group of Lancaster. Beacon MedTech now operates at 32 Jungle Road in Leominster, according to its website.
