Beacon Manufacturing Group of Lancaster announced Monday it has acquired Acromatic Plastics of Leominster, a precision molded products company.
Acromatic will now be known as Beacon Engineered Solutions.
As part of the acquisition, Beacon Manufacturing Group will gain a 110,000-square-foot manufacturing facility to be made available to its Beacon MedTech Solutions business. Specifically, there are plans to build out Beacon’s tooling and liquid silicone rubber molding capabilities at the Leominster location.
“This acquisition is critical in enabling Beacon MedTech Solutions to expedite the delivery of vital innovations to our medical, life sciences, and bio-pharma customers,” said Bob May, CEO of Beacon Manufacturing Group, in a statement.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
