Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. I am very pleased with both the staff and our customers. Everyone has been very receptive and welcoming me as a new branch manager. We have a great location, a good customer base and an opportunity to grow.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. The biggest challenge is trying to compete with all the banks in the area. Banking has become such a competitive industry where everyone offers the same products and similar rates on products. It is difficult to gain the majority of the market share. I do believe that Clinton Savings is rather unique in that we offer products with very competitive rates along with superior customer service and great online products - all with reliability that customers have come to expect.

Q. What's the best way to keep your energy and motivation up during a long day?
A. Because I'm able ble to sit down and take time we each customer, I get a great deal of satisfaction in providing a level of personal service and solutions to their financial needs - that really keeps me going on any day.  CSB has allowed the opportunity for me to understand who our customers are and what they need.  The best part is that we are empowered to make decisions based on that information - making it an enjoyable experience rather than a hassle for the customer.

Q. What's on your to do list in the next couple of days?
A. My to do list consists of preparing loan documents, staff meetings, and visit our business customers.

Q. How far is your commute to work?
A. Since I live in Fitchburg my commute is very easy.  It's only about 25-30 minutes on either RT.12 or I-190.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. When I was in high school I was not sure of what I wanted to do. I knew I wanted to work with people, and I always assumed I would be a teacher. I didn't realize that I'd have that opportunity by educating people every day on finances!

Q. What's your favorite thing about Central Massachusetts?
A. I absolutely adore the fall season. The foliage is beautiful and the weather is amazing. There is nothing better than a trip down Route 2 during peak foliage with the windows down!
