Michael N. Lussier, president and CEO of Webster First Federal Credit Union, has been elected chairman of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions.
Lussier is serving a one-year term in the position, which began July 22.
Lussier has worked in credit unions for 23 years. Before becoming chairman, he served on the NAFCU executive committee and was chairman of the audit committee.
He serves on the boards of Becker College in Worcester, the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corp. and Pentegra Retirement Services Corp. He has also been involved with the local American Red Cross, the Webster/Dudley Rotary Club and the National Advisory Council for Member Data Corp.
Lussier is also a licensed pilot.
