The president of New England’s energy grid operator will be the featured guest Wednesday during a noontime regional energy forum in Manchester, N.H.
Former business reporter Peter Howe, now a senior advisor at Denterlein, plans to moderate a discussion with Gordon van Welie, President & CEO of ISO New England. The New England Council is sponsoring the event at The New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College. Organizers expect a crowd of about 130 people.
The region is in the midst of a transition away from coal-fired and nuclear energy and towards more renewable power sources and continued reliance on natural gas.
