A Hopkinton apartment complex sold on Monday for $82.5 million to a Boston investment firm.
Woodview Way Owner LLC, affiliated with DSF Group of Boston, purchased the 240-unit Woodview at Legacy Farms, according to the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds.
The seller was BREIT MF Woodview Way LLC, a partnership between New York investment giant Blackstone Inc. and Chicago’s LivCor. The property was acquired by the partnership in 2019 for $64.5 million as part of a portfolio sale.
The 240-unit complex was built by Atlanta developer Wood Partners as Alta Legacy Farms in 2014. In 2015, it was sold to an affiliate of New York-based The Praedium Group, for $59.5 million.
Boston’s DSF Group has invested more than $4.2 billion in multi-family real estate since 2000, according to the company’s website. It actively redevelops and trades apartment complexes throughout the Northeast, as well as developing properties from the ground up.
In January 2022, the firm purchased the Rolling Green Apartments in Milford, a 304-unit complex for $87 million, and rebranded it Halstead Milford Green.
It is assessed by the Town of Hopkinton for $62.7 million.
