UMass Memorial Health has opened its second UrgentCare Express at Harrington, with the new Southbridge facility joining the Oxford location.
The new facility at 164 South St. in Southbridge is staffed by Harrington Physician Services, according to a Thursday press release from UMass Memorial Health - Harrington. The clinic officially opened on Feb. 13.
Mid-level clinicians, nurses, and medical assistants will provide care at the clinic, which will be equipped to treat urgent but non life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including strep throat, fractures, and minor cuts requiring stitches. Walk-ins can visit on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The clinic is an addition to the Harrington network.
Harrington HealthCare became a member of the Worcester-based UMass Memorial Health system in 2021.
