Worcester real estate firm Hampton Properties LLC, which finalized the purchase of more than 25 of Becker College’s former properties last week, sold a large property on Woodland Street in Worcester for $2.1 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
Located at 111 Woodland St. adjacent to several buildings used by Clark University, the 16,410-square-foot apartment building sold to JTK Holdings LLC, which is registered to June Kozen of Irvine, Calif.
The building was previously a church, according to Hampton Properties’ website, and was converted into a 12-unit apartment building advertised toward graduate students and faculty at Clark. It is assessed at $1,066,300 by the City of Worcester.
The sale closed on Oct. 5, three days before Hampton Properties made a $10-million purchase of various parcels of property formerly owned by Becker College, according to the registry. The real estate company is led by Russ Haims, who specializes in restoring and developing historic buildings.
