GVNA reports 9-percent patient growth

Gardner-based GVNA Healthcare Inc. reported 9-percent growth in home health and hospice patient volume in 2016 at its annual meeting on March 28.

GVNA President and CEO Elaine Fluet highlighted the agency’s growth during her comments a the Colonial Hotel in Gardner.

“It was a very good year for GVNA, experiencing growth in the census of many programs, expanding our services to new communities, and developing new strategic partners with payers and healthcare providers,” Fluet said, according to a statement issued April 5.

GVNA, a nonprofit, community-based provider, introduced new members of the board of directors for 2017, including Andrew Boucher, chairman, Ken Tomasetti, vice chairman, Michael Gerry, treasurer, and Jeff Aubuchon, secretary.
