Stephanie Page, executive director of Abby Kelley Foster House, Inc is stepping down from the role after nine years. Page will officially leave the role on June 30.
Abby’s House is a Worcester-based nonprofit organization that provides services for women with and without children in the form of shelter and affordable housing. The organization is also involved in advocacy, education, and community support.
The board of directors intends to have a replacement named before Page departs the role, according to a Tuesday announcement from Abby’s House. An executive search committee has already been established, and the board has announced that Nancy Jackson of Eos Transition Partners will serve as executive search consultant.
While Page was in this role at Abby’s House, the organization completed renovations of the shelter building, as well as incorporated trauma-informed care into its practices. In January, Abby’s House received a $50,000 grant from the Greater Worcester Community Foundation. Page was the 2020 winner of the WBJ’s Nonprofit Business Leader of the Year award.
