Hopkinton data storage firm EMC Corp. said it has extended a technology licensing agreement with computer equipment giant IBM.
The agreement extends for five years a contract the companies signed in 2006. The agreement allows customers to continue to operate combinations of EMC storage and IBM power systems technologies, EMC said in a statement.
EMC and IBM are involved in a series of agreements, EMC said.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
