Murray will speak at 1 p.m. about the educational challenges facing Massachusetts and New England.
Murray is chair of the newly formed STEM Advisory Council, which is intended to encourage science, technology, engineering and math curriculum in schools.
Other events during the day include a discussion on how to increase student engagement in education through technology, how other school districts have used technology in the classroom, and a discussion on new trends in technology usage.
