Curry Printing has closed its Worcester plant and consolidating those services into its Westborough headquarters.
The company said it has consolidated its Worcester location, which has served as a local business center, and process all customer projects under one roof in Westborough.
The move is designed to increase efficiencies and provide leverage to better serve customers, Curry said.
Curry launched in Worcester in 1978. As the business grew, it expanded into the Boston market. In 2005, Curry moved its headquarters to the Westborough facility. At that time, the former Worcester location was converted to a digital business center.
“We’ve reached the point where communication is so ubiquitous, it makes sense to streamline our operations to one location,” said Curry President Peter Gardner, in a statement. "The fact is that over 95% of our clients order via email, phone and our website. Technology has made the world a smaller place.”
Gardner said the company will keep its Worcester phone number and continues to offer free pick-up.
